Start by hearing or reading the word of God. End by living them out.

Cast all your cares onto God for he cares for you -1 Peter 5:7

The ratio between peace and anxiety is

100% peace and 0% anxiety

Do not be anxious, uncertain or worried and simply trust in God to help you pull through anything you are facing. Look to God, not at your problems and all the obstacles that may be in your way. Trust in God, put all your worries and problems into his capable hands, and relax a little bit.

Jesus came into the world to save sinners -1 Timothy 1:15

We are all sinners. Don’t be offended, we aren’t sinners because we sin but we are born sinners. A Dog is not a dog because he barks, rather, he barks because he is a Dog! But don’t let being a sinner excuse you from sinning Instead, look and turn to God for salvation. He came here not to judge the world, but to save it.

Grow in Grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ -2 Peter 3:18

How do we grow? By reading the bible and praying every day. It is important to satisfy your spiritual hunger-your thirst and need for more of Jesus. Read and think about what you learn on Sundays as well as what you read in the bible in your own time. Remember, you can talk to God about anything and you can even ask him to help you grow in grace and knowledge of Jesus. This will also help you build up faith

Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much. And whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.-Luke 16:10

Samuel did all the chores that Eli told him to do. He was kind, smart and obedient. He also listened to God and became a judge and a prophet. If you want to do something or be something BIG, you first must learn to do the little things well. We would trust someone like Samuel to know what to do in any given situation, but we wouldn’t trust Saul or the same responsibility even though saul was a king and Samuel was only a prophet.

Man looks at the physical appearance but God looks at the heart -1 Samuel 16:7

Man sees how strong, smart, or pretty someone is and judges them accordingly but God looks at our heart. He looks at our character and how pure our intentions are. We see the sin, but God sees the sinner.

We hate sin and therefore, hate the person who sins. But God hates sin and loves the sinners even though that person made a mistake or a bad decision.

“It is mine to avenge. I will repay.” says the Lord. -Romans 12:19

We learnt from David to not Pay back Evil for Evil. God had given David at least two opportunities to kill King Saul, the man who was trying to kill him. But David would not kill him. He did not pay back evil for evil or get revenge because he trusted in God to be the judge and to avenge him.
